Medea Creek Middle School
Project Summary
Oak Park Unified School District loved the sustainable classrooms that CRATE built for their high school campus so much the district decided to implement the same shipping container technology for their new middle school campus, Medea Creek Middle School. CRATE built six classrooms and two restroom units.
Each classroom is made up of (3) 8×40’ recycled high cube containers which create a 960 square foot learning space. The container modulars were strategically placed on the campus in order for the adjacent space to be used as outdoor learning space or play area.
